ARTISAN: ELECTRICAL

NUMBER OF POSITIONS AVAILABLE : 1
LOCATION : WINDHOEK
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide 2nd line electrical maintenance support to the line in the event of equipment failures, execute planned preventive maintenance, assist with planned, corrective, break-in-work, condition based and predictive maintenance and perform fault-finding and a structured break down analysis on failed components.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Technical Certificate
  • N3 Industrial Instrumentation/Electrical/Millwright (Trade Certificate) with a minimum of 3 years’ electrical industrial experience
  • MS Office proficient
  • Siemens S5 and S7 fault-finding
  • Read electrical drawings and basic mechanical drawings
  • Experience in process engineering
  • Experience in frequency drives, servo motors, induction motors
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Prepare and execute planned maintenance activities in the Packaging Department
  • Provide 2nd line breakdown support to the packaging lines
  • Maintain health and safety standards
  • Complete documentation/work orders and do proper record keeping
  • Provide maintenance support to the operations/packaging team
  • Coach and train operators and electrical learners
